Alison Lohman

I used to dislike her for some reason, but I just saw White Oleander and now I absolutely love her:heart:
How old exactly is she?

I don't want to play the race card, but it just amazes me how I do not see a black face. Like, at all.

i think allison is really cute but that still from flicka, which im pretty sure is also the poster for the movie, is terrible. i guess this doesn't really have anything to do with allison but every time i see it it makes me so angry i can't help but say somehting lol. it's just really amatuer... she looks like she has no idea what she's doing and if i were the film makers i would be embarassed to have that picture out there let alone on the poster promoting the movie! its almsot disrespectful- if you're going to make a movie about horses and horsemanship, take the subject seriously! anyone who knows the first thing about riding would be able to tell she's holding the reins totally wrong and her hands are wayy to high making her look really unbalanced. poor horse, a second after that picture was taken i bet she yanked him in the mouth by accident. i'm not expecting her to look like she could win a grand prix but she doesn't even look profficient enough to even be cantering in the first place, especially bareback and without a helmet. anyway, sry to rant i just think this movie looks really amature- i've heard other horror stories about accidents involving horses during the production as well and i donno i'm jsut baffled this kind of unproffesionalism is taking place on a large scale hollywood production.

Oh Hard Candy was awesome-does the girl in that movie have a thread?

I wish Alison would start getting better parts. She kind of burst into the scene with White Oleander and Matchstick Men but lately she's kind of disappeared. I was quite disappointed when she did Flicka.

Think about it, those people were placed on the front because they had a movie to promote or they had just been in a film or they were a rising star. If you can think of a 'black face' in 2004 that would fit into any of the catagories I mentioned, let me know. You should look at these people as individuals not who is this and who is that.

Kawari the girl in Hard Candy is called Ellen Page, I searched on here but she doesnt have a thread.
