All About Eyebrows

I have also heard the tip to use Rogaine. Just use it at the ends where you want more hair to grow in - apply with a Q-tip.

can you get rogaine from the drugstore? or do you have to go somewhere special? also, is it $$$?

There is also a fab product to make the eyebrows grow, it´s called Talika Eyebrowcils, it´s proper to use on eyebrows and has an applicator for this effect.
You can find it at Sephora and it´s about $25 i think.

Yes, Rogaine is at the drugstore - I can't imagine that it would be expensive. And I bet you'd want to try Rogaine for women. I don't know...

So I finally found the perfect eyebrow pencil for me ^_^
It's the " Brow Definer " by Clarins.
It looks quiet natural on me, and very easy to use. I'm posting a pic ( sorry
if my camera is a bit fuzzy ).

Retractable Brow Define

I give it :magic: :magic: :magic: ½ out of 5

It looks very natural, and my eyebrows do look longer.
But it missed out on 1½ because of the price. It cost
$ 34, but then again it's a refillable pencil so it only costs this much
the first time you buy it.

Thanks everyone for your advice :flower:

I need to extend my eyebrows too but my problem is that I can't find an eyepencil that has a color to suit my eyebrows. Most brands sell black or dark brown. I can't take dark brown 'cos the extended part becomes very obvious and neither can I take black because it's just to harsh and fake on my pale skin. I think (as weird as it sounds) I need a dark grey. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem you have. I thought I was the only one who
needed grey, good to know someone else do too ! :flower:

I actually use black for my eyebrows and " extend " with grey.
But there aren't any eyebrow pencils that come in grey as far as I know.

So what I did was, I bought a darkgrey crayon pencil from L'oreal and use
that one to extend and use the brush of my Clarins eyebrow pencil to
make it look more natural rather than so " painted " or smudgy.

It worked out fine. You might wanna give it a try. ^_^

Whew Golden Butterfly ... so I'm not weird .... or maybe we are weird! I'll try looking for the Loreal one but I don't think I saw a darkgrey one the last time i checked. I don't color in between my eyebrows because I've actually got very thick brows except they don't "extend" enough. So I can only "extend" my brows. If I color in between my brows I end up looking rather Chinese opera-ish  . I"ll definitely try to look for the crayon though. Thanks!

^ Yes we are one grey coloured eyebrow couple

It doesn't nessecarily have to be L'oreal, any grey eyeliner will do.
But make sure it's a rather " dry " pencil, that way it stays on for a longer
time.

Maybe I was a bit unclear, I actually paint my eyebrows black and extend
a little at the end with grey to make them longer. But as you, I have to be
very carely so I don't look too " painted on "

Good luck ! :flower:

this in "jet black (14420)" from www.sanford.com is really good for natural looking brows...

i know its a drawing pencil, not a makeup pencil, but whatever :ninja:
you can probably buy these at your local arts and craft store.

im asian, so my brows are dark.
i didnt dye my hair so my hair is very very dark brown/black (not jet black though) so i look awkward with brown brows and i look even weirder with black brows because its too dark.

i fill my brows (both end and front) with this and its a dark grey/brown color.. its hard to describe but it looks very natural, with or without other makeup on.

just give it a try, im sure its less than $5, and its GREAT...!!! :flower:

also applying mascara (just a little bit) :ninja: on your brows can help....
that is.. when you dont have time...
just swipe it and go...
not as good as the whole drawing/filling thing but definitely better than nothing...

(gosh you must think that im really weird.. first a drawing pencil, than mascara on brows? )

^ I've got the mascara advice before, but the prob with my dark eyebrows is
I have to be very careful how and what I apply because it always
seem to end up looking " painted on ".

Thanks for the tip though, might work for others :flower:
