surprisinly fresh collection from DellAqua, loved the two last looks from the first plate and his use of cobalt blue.
thanks for the choices igni
It was a very safe collection for Allesandro dell'Acqua on Wednesday, October 3 '03 (can't you tell I'm trying to do a Suzy Menkes ) . Though one of is trademarks was missing, the unexpected fabrics on clothes (i.e gold satin cargoes), another one was present which was light, sensual clothes. Though this collection didn't break any ground this proved to be a mature collection for dell'Acqua. And as Style's says " As the creative mind behind La Perla's ready-to-wear, and with a new backer for his own line, chances are there will be a lot more Dell'Acqua in the shops soon—and that's something to look forward to." Indeed.
Beautiful! Especially the cobalt blue dress.
I quite like it, not to stong, btu it has a nice soft sensual feeling
I like it..its simple but theres something more to it. Its just classy.
I like it too, but I'm usually a fan as well. Very calming and quiet feeling.
i really like some of these looks...
i the outfits with yellow accents... and i love the pants!
i also love the first colbalt dress.
I like it too
some colors of the dresses look like tights for old women...
but I like the black dresses
Looks like some theatrics! Welcome drama!
agree with the old tights comment! but the collection has a nice mood overall! calm and grown up!
thanks for reviving this thread and thus bringing it to my attention! haven't seen it before....
