I was just looking at the Rimmel site - she's one of the spokesmodels for the brand - and the images there remind me that it's entirely possible to take nice shots of Zooey's face without her looking like a fool - something like the image below, with a little less shoulder action (rimmellondon.com

^but then, that Rimmel picture is massively 'shopped.

Each and every shot selected for an Allure cover is massively "shopped".

When I first saw the cover, I thought the funny face was her pucking up for a kiss for a Valentine's theme, what with all the red.

Even if that Allure cover is photoshoped a lot, I still think it looks better than that Rimmel ad where she doesn't even look like herself
