Our very own Lena was at this show today!
i like what i see from it
The yellow dress
Hard look to pull off though...
I really like this guy! From everything I've seen(besides the Vandevorst exhibit,of course),he posesses by far the most talent and the most substance of anyone. And the work itself looks as if it belongs together rather than parts, yet it looks every piece looks individual as if it could also stand alone. Not an easy thing to do. Plus,I adore this guys passion for fabrics with 'life'.
I say none of this, though, because Lena is my friend
i want that dress!
i like the white colored one shoulder dress too. love the placement and variation of the colors.
i'm so glad you liked Angelos Bratis work Angelos is Greek, educated in Amsterdam, based in Rome and his presentation was one of the most talked about at Alta Moda. Our very own tott who was also there with us, seemed to liked it as well
you can find a little bit more on his work HERE including some of his past designs (photographed by me, at my house )
btw, the yellow dress was THE hit of the collection, if anyone is interested in ordering, let me know
i promise more photos from the show during the weekend
Yes, he did, as a matter of fact!
Loved the drapings and the black bead embroidery. (It was beads, I presume?)
absolutely but very delicately beaded
ps: all models at the show were greek
Lena,I love everything but I'm somehow drawn to the beatuiful one-shoulder dress with strips of colorful fabric. Or dusty rainbow colors as he calls it.
Similar passions I seem to share with him
