Alyx F/W 2022.23 Milan

He should really stop Givenchy because he is at his best in his own brand.
It’s still mediocre for my standard of a designer but because there’s no expectations, it works…

I find it sad, when you are working at a Couture house, have access to a great atelier, the best artisans to design your clothes, the best techniques and the best setting…To not evolve as a designer. He is really to Givenchy what Wang was to Balenciaga.

This collection literally reminds me of Wang when he was in his experimental phase. What is actually a good indicator that nobody will really care about Williams in 5 years from now.

I like that he is moderately hot. And also I actually do kinda like looks 5 and 11, but maybe bc it's margiela, and it's still a bit meh. Who gave him this platform again?

Hypebeasts and f**kbois lol.

Also the "moderately hot" bit had me clicking on the thumbnail...I'm perplexed by whatever is going on trousers-wise.

And Daniel Lee is no.1 on my moderately hot list, I'm not one to judge.

He got out of his strict Lang-esque aesthetic and now it's more apparent than ever that he's got no idea how to grow as a designer. The styling and color palette make very little sense and none of his proposals read as fresh...very Wang ca. 2013, as mentioned repeatedly.
