I think vampire shoot could've been good, but I don't love a single photo from the ones they produced. Alasia and Reina are the only decent ones, the rest are really bad with some being truly awful.

I couldn't agree more. I love everything about Raina and I think the judges never had a serious problems with her work..Angelea seems like such a boring B-TCH to me i just don't find her interesting, beautiful or versatile..

I just cannot stand the blatant favoritism displayed by Andre Leon. I thought he was going to help move the show along in a better direction, but his partiality towards Alasia has been irritating. She would have probably gone home for that awful first picture, which all the judges except him disliked. He has not in any way been an asset to the show, just dragging it down and making it more dramatic.

↑ I so agree on the last 2 posts. ALT hasn't been much of a great judge this season. Sucks that they sent Naduah home so early when Alasia & Angelea are such b*tches and they really just bludgeon the other contestants with their endless screaming (Alasia's case) and banter! OH LAWD PLEASE SEND THEM HOME so I can watch ANTM 14 in peace and not with my eyes rolling too much.

^ I knew the show wasn't going anywhere "new" or in a better "direction" when Mr. Jay came out in the matrix inspired jacket and vampire makeup at the photoshoot. I rolled my eyes and pressed "fast forward" haha

I think in past seasons the favoritism was much more subdued. except for the classic "WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!!!!!" Now it's like "i like her, she has something special" = "WINNER"

I respectfully disagree. I like to think of him as being the male twiggy. He's complemented Raina as well in all her photos. I think he has alot of intellectual things to say, as well as humor. He does know alot about what goes on in the fashion industry so he's just giving these girls his own genuine advice he thinks might bring them success as models. Doesn't mean all advice is best, but that can be said for all the judges at panel.

Is it that you have a problem with blatant favoritism, or do you have a problem with blatant favoritism towards someone who is not your favorite? I haven't agreed with all of the eliminations this cycle, but I have understood the reasons why and he does look at things through the prism of what he would see in an editorial or campaign, which has been sorely lacking on this show since, as simplylovely noted, Twiggy left. He is fulfilling the role that Twiggy couldn't and that is bringing both fashion credibility and delivering it in an entertaining way, perhaps at some point he will become "too much," but that hasn't happened yet.

Yeah if Alasia wins, I would have a problem, but other than the first picture she has produced good pictures so she has earned her spot. What is worse, keeping around a girl because she takes good pictures and brings drama OR praising a girl to the heavens like Raina and McKey before her and throwing out words like high fashion and haute couture, when they don't have the bodies for those niches? Of course I don't want ANTM to become a showcase for body dysmorphia, but my panties get more in a twist when they pump up girls who do have a lot of potential, which I think Raina definitely has, but overlook their shortcomings and make the model and the audience think that she is ready for the Milan runways and campaigns for top designers when they aren't.

I don't remember the name of the girl, but the one that screams all the time at the other girls and acts like a stroppy four year old, she actually unfortunately has a nice look and I understand why ALT was rooting for her. I don't think any of the girls would have thought of a standing picture with their arm covering their butt-cr*ck (don't know what the censorship rules are for here) and it's kind of daring. Maybe in a few years she will have toned down her attitude, because if she is as creative as she appears she could make some great editorials. It's probably because she's so young that she is doing so well, because most teenagers are pretty confident that they are the coolest thing that ever walked the earth.

As far as Raina goes, oh god, she is so fabulous, she has this amazing intense look and really fills up the camera, if she can handle the nuttiness of what she wants to do I think she could be amazing, and I hope she gets to keep those crazy eyebrows because they really add to her intensity.

I see that no one has commented on this but don't you find it weird that Simone got eliminated and yet there are some pictures of her at the airport in New Zealand ? And I don't think they brought all the girls to the international destination. In the promo for next week's episode, Anslee is crying, she wants to go home so I think she will go home and Simone will replace her.

Btw Raina's eyebrows are painful to watch. She's beautiful, that's for sure but the eyebrows are too big for my liking.

I know there were "decoy" girls who were there to mask who actually made it to the top group who went abroad. What if ANTM paid Simone to be a decoy? Haha it's speculation. And I think your idea is probably more realistic. But in the past, if one girl quits, don't they just go right ahead with another elimination? They have never brought a girl "back" after she has been eliminated. It's only been done in the semi final's
