Ami Menswear F/W 2023.23 Paris

It’s maybe time to calm down on the oversized but this is a very great collection. Probably the best of the season so far. Real, mature, versatile. It lacked maybe a bit of fantasy in the menswear, something more « WOW » but it was solid. Great and honest womenswear…

I didn’t like the chunky mens shoes, he needs to collaborate with Pierre Hardy to design his shoes!

And what a cast! The best really…
Bravo Alexandre!

Really enjoyed it, sublime yet opulent. AMAZING cast as well.

Okay, this is better than I expected. As someone who has followed him early on, this is really great. The direction, the colors and the cutting. Even though he can definitely take aways few of the coats. And gosh, the cast is top notch. So well done to him.

I like how the colours transition from the pastels to that rich blue. Classic and sophisticated collection.

It's been a while since I have been able to identify most of the male models in one show. Really excellent casting and helps elevate their collection.

I'm sure that these are absolutely excellent clothes, but looking at 53 versions of oversized, polite looking merchandise is always a NO for me.

This just makes me think of the recent Zara campaign with all these tonals. It's alright. Serviceable and easy to process, with a stellar cast that must have cost small fortune.

What a terrible collection.

It’s not simple-strong enough to be good minimalism and not rock-retro enough to be cool to be cool Parisian. This collection is in limbos.

Very Zara-esque.

I think they need to calm down with the oversizing on the shoulders. I know oversized tailoring is the trend, but it generally looks best when the roominess is in the body, not at the shoulders in that way that makes people look like they played dress-up in their dad's too-big jacket.

Love Charlotte though!

I wouldn’t say no to the baby blue or beige outerwear but I’m not exactly inspired. A few showpieces would do the trick.

As a movie geek, Charlotte Rampling is a very welcome choice to close the show and I can only wish that she does a bit more fashion work in the near future.

Love what they presented on a catwalk - such nice silhouettes and color palette - unfortunately I like slightly less their collections once they arrive in the shop; but still a fair quality for the price point.
