The Children at North London's Southgate school in Barnet Monday got a celebrity visitor: an infuriated Amy Winehouse, who was on the warpath, headed toward a girl she believed to be the bully of her 13-year-old goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield.

Winehouse, 26, showed she can put a bully in her place, spitting on and insulting her goddaughter's supposed torturer.
A bystander eventually broke up the incident, at which point Amy signed a few autographs and took off.

you know,in a really sick way,i imagine every kid or adult who's ever had bullies in their lives would have loved someone as psychotic as amy to come stick up for them

courtney love could have come to my school any day and every day ;)

tooo funny, imagine being the bully.
wow amy winehouse spit on me. lol

Spat on a group of kids, and then signed some autographs after?
Kinda sick, but kinda hilarious.

Oh dear you entered exactly what I was thinking. ;)
I actually envisioned this when I was in middle school (age 12-13) :D

Her pulling up in a black limo, ripped and shredded black tights and screaming her guts/lungs out at all the kids who made fun of moi.

Anyway, go Amy! I think its pretty fabulous she did this. Bet that goddaughter of hers is a little celebrity around her school now. ^_^

Ugh, I don't think it's fabulous. It is possible that a 13 year old girl might exaggerate things! And even if she wasn't, what an incredibly immature way to go about fixing the problem. The girl's parents should have contacted the school. When it comes down to it, Amy physically and verbally attacked a child. That's majorly f'ed up. She should be charged for this behaviour, it can't be legal. I'm sure if it were an ordinary person they would have been but Amy seems to have had a free pass from the law for a long time now.

Her heart was in the right place but she went too far. Although U.K schools and bulllying is a problem that is more than often not dealt with as severely as it should.

Yeah I said, well 'typed' that in the moment I was in...looking upon it now it's not fabulous, I agree. It's very sad and just a reminder of her mental condition. She shouldnt have ever gone there to that school. I feel for anyone who is bullied, as I was when I was a kid, but there could have been an alternative for her, as you say...the parents should have contacted the school.

^^ That's true. I use myself as an example again when I say that my school did nothing when I even received harassment at home on my PARENTS answering machine.
(Back in the day/early 90's before voicemail.)

She only insulted and spat on the bully, there was no GBH - though I'm sure it will become GBH and post traumatic stress when the parents learn Amy Winehouse did it :innocent:

This is fantastic! I can always count on Amy to give me lulz, I wish she was my godmother

Ryan HA HA HA
You know shes gonna mean business, somebody's a** gonna be whipped then she'll sign autographs

Too right ;)

I grew up in Jerry Ford's hometown, and it was around the time that he pardoned Nixon that I had this really great bus driver. He would rant about this every day on the way to school  And he thought I was great, so there was definitely no BS on his bus ... TBH, there are moments I wouldn't mind his having my back even now
