contributing editor to what, fashion?

if to the mag in general i find it interesting that two editors on Paris Vogue have fashion, rather than literary or business backgrounds... but it seems to be something that is working for them!

also,

*and totally off topic sorry* consulting... i have always found that quite interesting in the past - do they simply advise design houses as to which design direction they should go in?

is there a similar thing that editors (with journalist backgrounds) can do?

is there another thread anyone is aware of that i should be directing all these questions to?^_^

Yeah,I think it's only fair that she gets entitled 'Fashion editor' rather than 'consulting editor' for this thread.

Anyway, I've wanted to start a thread about her for ages now but thanks for opening it.She certainly is my favourite fashion editor from Vogue Paris. Her fashion style is very subtle, 'sensual' in a way and very versatile too (I don't think she really has a style signature like Emmanuelle Alt and M-A Sauve have), I really like how she mixes feminine clothes with masculine ones.

you have quite a few questions there...each one of them different..
the careers & education forum is probably the best place to start...
there are multiple threads there on the roles of stylists, editors, etc..

use the search function....it's very helpful...
use keywords like stylist, editor, fashion editor, etc..

here's a thread on fashion magazine editors..

http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/f90/fashion-magazine-editor-how-30458.html

and one on fashion journalism..

http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/f90/fashion-journalism-34441.html

one on fashion directors..

http://www.thefashionspot.com/forum...-fashion-directors-what-difference-55169.html

those might be a good place to start..

sure...a mod can re-title it if they'd like..
i was just going by the title in her bio..which says contributing editor..
