Runway icon Andi Muise kept a low profile while she enjoyed the evening.
It was a fashion double-header, (and so much more), at the Liberty Grande when supermodel Aygness Deyn appeared to DJ a set after the anticipated Betsey Johnson fashion show.
With Project Runway Canada’s Sunny Fong schmoozing at a booth and Victoria Secret lingerie model Andi Muise on the dance floor kicking up her heels, there was plenty to turn the heads of fashion victims such as Jamie Wilford.
“We love Betsey. Our dresses are [from her line] but we came to see Aygness Deyn,” Wilford said. “She’s the androgynous trailblazer for supermodels of our time.”
Soaking up the last bit of Toronto Fall 2010 Fashion Week, fashion mavens arrived fully coiffed, invoking the question of whether the best fashion show was on stage or in the crowd.
Although Betsey debuted her line during New York Fashion Week, many were still excited for the taste of her genius, such as admirer Alexandra Low.
“We had to see it,” she said. “We love Betsey Johnson and live moments from her store. We’re always in there.”
