Those black guys flexing in briefs were such a distraction when going through this thing. Some nice dresses and some other looks that were just clownish and awful, like that knitted onesie. Neither here nor there.
When you strip away the gimmicks, the props, the sexualised black men (how very innovative, ), what's left? A few classic Westwood silhouettes which you can likely find better expanded in one of her sub ranges?
It's not an awful collection. As with any true British designer worth their salt, the knitwear elements look amazing. But I can do without the tacky painter's print pieces on the men, which I'm guessing was done by Kronthaler. She needs to cut this man out of her collections. It's not cute or whatever superlative she wants to come up with, it just downright embarrassing.
