Lady alzheimer forgot to take her meds.
If you ever wondered what a fashion show at a rehab facility look like...and people wonder why professional models are a thing!
Vivienne Westwood - not only does she not need any of that make-up, to appear bare-faced at the age of 79 in an ad campaign for your own brand would be defiance in itself. Instead, the intended shock value of the make-up greatly detracts from her strength.
I hate when designers pose as models.
Vivienne is totally senile at this point. She keeps with her "buy less" campaign, while launching two lines of clothes at the same time...
And as for the clothes, it feels like the idea of a 13 y.o. beginning the rebel phase of adolescence. The problem is that here the teenage is almost 80 y.o.! And her "husband" is well into in his 50s...
Peter Pan complex!
The worst thing that could have ever happened to Westwood is Andreas. You can tell the dynamic of their relationship. Like a frustrated/temperamental child that aspired to be a great designer, but never made it. His only chance was to cling on to Viv, and Viv is the complacent nurturer. That gave him free reign over her label. His name on the label? Who does he think he is. Not even JG at Dior had his name on the label/garment tag. She used to be amazing tailor, amazing body con pieces, great with patterns, great at referencing history. Now all she...or he...does is these jumbled/ oversized deconstructed bed comforter pieces.
NO. CANCEL THE ORDER NOW!
Is that Sarah Stockbridge among the models? She was so incredibly cool in the '80s, and still looks good now.
