i just went back and had a look again...she is..
strange...because when i first posted the pics i double checked..i thought the material looked strange for a boot...and then i concluded that she must have been wearing ankle boots with the same coloured sock showing a bit at the top..

oops..sorry..
i guess at least it's the 'illusion' of an ankle boot..like curious said..

Here's an outfit I originally posted in the Shopaholics thread, which some of you have already seen. I was having a hard time with the ankle book + skirt look, but these Dries boots follow the line of the ankle and foot really nicely, so they're very flattering!

All the IM etoile stuff had names.... My boots were the Akota boots. Creatures of Comfort had each thing listed with a name; the denim top was the "figg" top.

What does the waistband look like? Sorry to be such a bother!
