New photos!!!

Candid photo of Anna with actor Colin Clive (he played Dr. Frankenstein in the first sound version of Frankenstein (with Boris Karloff playing the monster). They weren't in any movies together, so I guess they were just friends.

gooorgeous! i love how she could wear everything, those glamorous 20s dresses, chinese traditional costumes and casual clothing, and manage to look both incredibly elegant and natural in all of them.

wow, cheiby and luxury´s lap, those are simply stunning :woot:!!especially the pics in post 82  .i have never seen anything like it before.they´re all the more extraordinary considering the fact that they were created in 1928.

i can only remember seeing one of anna may wong´s films : "the thief of bagdad" (which was one of her first screen appearances i suppose).therefore i´m not really familiar with her as an actress but regarding her style i agree with everything northernsky said.
it reminds me a bit of dolores del rio,who managed to mix traditional mexican clothing with the elegant hollywood style of her times and often created a wonderful, surprising and above all perfect symbiosis.
