Yeah I thought that was funny too...so, does she speak English...at all?

Btw, she's half Russian, not English (nor Polish like that CNN video mistakenly stated).

i think her father is english/russian and her mother japanese...

and i read in an interview that she does understand english but not enough to really speak it, anyway according to her singing her pronouncation is pretty good
