you know softie i was actually thinking despite this being nowhere near that level of complexity she was known for before,this is actually a step-up for her. it actually kind of reminds me of the previous incarnate of vanessa bruno....maybe even a little bit of branquinho as well.

It's not her usual complexity, but it is Pre-Fall and I like how she shows off other skills - clean line, asceticism, etc. I love how calm, centered and adult she is showing herself to be amidst all the runway drama. The first jumpsuit is sublime!

yes yes yes .. the first part is yummy.. very reminiscent of her collections around 2004 for me, less frilly for sure (thank god) but it seems to have that sharpness I always missed about her work, and yeah, that serenity Zazie mentions.

yes scott- i can definitely see the VB and VB comparison...


as zazie points out...
it seems very controlled...very mature...

the only thing i take issue with is the soft trousers...
i think they would work better in a different fabric...
i wish she could have gotten them crisper without making them entirely stiff...
right now, they come off as a little droopy to me...
which is never a good thing...


overall though, i think it's v. nice...

I think the deep blue back drop does shadow her design, I believe in detail the clothes are much more exquisite.
