well he'll always make for an interesting cover subject, and i'll take anyone over some random 15yo, but i wonder about his relevancy these days. Anyway, these are pretty great
Vincent Gallo is my guilty pleasure. They are both great covers, but might get the second one.
The covers aren't bad, but I'll never understand fashions interest in him.
Rather enjoyable, especially the second one.
A bit lame to follow last season's Saint Laurent ads.....
When is Arena Homme+ out?
Vincent! <3 One of the few men who make me wanna have sex just by looking at them. He can do no wrong in my eyes, and his whole œuvre is more relevant than most people's who are on magazine covers today, so I don't care if he has a film out or not. (But I guess he has?)
I agree. Buffalo 66 is a minor masterpiece, and The Brown Bunny, that seems to be universally loathed, is actually one of my particular favourites. In a way he’s his own worst enemy, people outside the arty bubble, only remember him by the douchy shenanigans and naturally the fact he’s quite a good artist gets lost in the mix.
Both covers are great, two lovely portraits.
He is quite handsome, the pictures are great but I can't forget his "political" stance. Conservative and Another Man is something I would never expect hand in hand.
Do people still care about him? I know he's a tumblr/"cool" icon but I feel like there are so many more interesting people to hear about - especially since beneath the surface he's a huge jerk...
The seated shot is gorgeous, sharply graphic and full of attitude. He's aged beautifully. Must buy for sure.
The portrait shot is useless with all that negative space so desperately seeking indie creds.
Saw Vincent and thought it was Cassel, who at least is good at the one thing he does and not awful at many.
Not cool enough to actually know him...the seated cover has an eerie vibe I like, the portrait shot lack strenght.
