Antonin Tron - Designer, Creative Director of Balmain

the woman in blue dress is his partner in life and business ......so not entering the villa this boy lol

His partner is the guy in the blue jacket, but even in this picture it's obvious what collections at Balenciaga he consulted on just like it's obvious what Vacarello collections he consulted on. There are already healthy brands whose business models run on easier and more accessible versions of SLP like Magda Butrym so he is going to have to evolve from a designer with signatures (that have already been used up) to a creative director quickly.

Also lol another Raf alumni getting another CD job...quick everyone lie and put design experience from there on your resume the label is shut down so HR can't do background checks.

true i miss red wich blue person in the picture from vogue : Tron and I go way back to February 2016. We met via the English writer Kerry Olsen, who was friends with Tron’s Italian partner Gabriele Forte...well the ceo is also gay lso makes sense like i said he went for eye candy instead of hardcore talent lol

his talent is limited sure he will make better clothes with bigger budget and better team but the vision is flat will be like a sara at givenchy & co a jaqemuse type, good looking for ig stuff but empty and commercial

The "musical chairs" game is not more. Now we are fully into Grindr era...get the right hook-up; and you could end as CD for a luxury brand. You never know!

There is a formula now for CDs in Paris.
ANDAM or LVMH prize + Press by Lucien Pages + A video with Loic Prigent + Beard + a bit of pecs
Look at Jacquemus before muscles, no one in Paris really cared about him before that.

But press already adores him I think he will be fine.

Yes but what you don’t say is that unfortunately, before Loïc Prigent, nobody cared about young designers. He is really the one who pushed the Antonin and Simon and about Pages, it’s not like his competitors are betting on young designers either.

It would have been great if their talents were exceptionally talented but they filled a gap in the French fashion scene and it’s working for them.

if the level is at best mid than i rather have no new young brands or designers, i don't believe that logic put the type young designers on the map as its a industry thing that have a wave of newcomers every so often one time is this wave other time it's another , that he brought them to a bigger young audience sure this i can see.

we see that brand and especially LVMH is always taking someone that had his or her own brand or worked previously some where as creative director, because for them its a value of proven experience and hype.

they don't buy up young brand every day but they take the creative director sure. investing in young brand is costly and long term game.
the pipeline is do your own brand and then get pick up by a bigger house that list is getting long now than in house appointments and maybe as long as cd's from other brands hire .
