I know. I didn't want to believe it, but it's difficult to ignore now. Terrible start to the season. I agree with your reasoning too. She hasn't gotten a big campaign or a cover. She's not been picked up by a good photographer. I personally don't find her to lack expression. But even if so, there are a ton of models who literally have one expression on their face.

My earlier post today was deleted because I accidentally quoted a picture rolleyes: how dumb of me). What I said there was that she also walked Ralph Rucci last night. That show had a very good cast. And with Carolina today, maybe all is not lost just yet.

I just get so discouraged because she should've been on the fast track to stardom from that CK exclusive. Her face is exquisite. I don't even understand why she shouldn't be helped by the comparison to Marine (though I don't disagree that it could be the case). Tonya looks so much fresher and is much more versatile, imo. And I'm not attacking Marine, she's grown on me, but it makes no sense to me.

Yeah, sometimes the industry can be so weird about who they choose as the season's stars, it sucks to see an exclusive and then nothing that really rivals that afterward. Hopefully she's got more big bookings in store, but even if she doesn't her look seems to be registering with casting directors because she is getting booked for some big-name stuff and having a busy season so far!

I think she just looks so gloomy. Some models with a one expression kind of face may not seem like it but have a strong attitude. A lot of girls keep going on the industry because they have a peculiar kind of style that calls attention to themselves.
Maybe Tonya's problem is that she's too young and shy. But I'm just guessing here.
