it’s a little too long and he dips in a few too many influences however it’s absolutely amazing.
everything looks perfectly crafted, the leather outfits are superb and there’s a lot of good ideas to pick from. maybe a little too many. could’ve/ should’ve been toned down.

^ never going to happen! that's Marras for you! it's like an Italian festival. I don't always love it but there are always a few pieces here and there that I wouldn't mind getting. I love that he's never been obsessed with youthfulness nor desperate to 'decode' the new generation or capture their interests, he's been doing pretty much the same collection/festival for many many years, same influences and same level of curiosity for the same textiles and silhouettes. I imagine the majority of his clientele being over 65, and lovely and traveling around.

I haven't seen videos of any Marras show in the past 10-15 years but I remember, circa 2005, they used to have these spectacular, super theatrical finales that were just beautiful. I hope he's still doing that and do wonder what this is about and who is that person in the closing look?

^ Thank you! I figured it was someone legendary. Seriously, no one's had fun like the people that are currently 65-80. Their youth was the type of scandalous no one under 60 right now even knows exactly what it means lol. They must be a fun market to cater to as a designer..

what i love about him it's his unapologetic happy-go-lucky attitude for designing his signatures again and again.
his shows are always a bit hit and miss - but i would die to wear this outfit just right now

It's always a hit or miss with him but it is also such a joy to watch his show. And I also love his shows during his Kenzo time too.
