Anyone here ever been scouted?

Bit of a silly question really, what with all the gorgeous bods here, but has anyone? What was it like? Which agency?

Only by Dove for that "alternative beauty campaign" and I'm guessing it had definately to do with my bod...since I was 6 3/4 months pregnant at the time ..It was in London, and I was only visiting so I turned it down...probably would have anyways..used gum attached to my various bodyparts in all the London tub adds is not really my cup of tea

I've been scouted times, by Nevs and some other agencies in London, in Miami and in Finland by some agencies. Also by photographers many times. I wasn't scouted by the agency I'm modeling at though.

once by elite, twice by models1, once by eskimo models and a few times by hair stilists, stilists and photographers.

won't be scouted today though

Cool! What are Models1 like as an agency? I heard they're a really good, nice bunch of people. Lucky you (must be one heck of an ego-boost)!

Yeah once i was at work and two guys from Wilhemina the wanted me to go to an open call, when i got there -there were 600 people.

Once while i was in nyc by wilhelmina...I wanted to sign but my parents wouldn't let me cause i was having "eating issues" and they thought it would make it worse

oops sorry, I went to London on a weekend trip and got spotted by models 1 twice and by storm, it was weird!

Yeah to be a hair model for this salon and their products but nothing too exciting. =T

Oh and I did some work as a promotional model which just means to go to certain events and work some booths.

Good on you, I say. I'd love to be scouted, but I think I'd have to be much prettier and about 4 inches taller (I'm only 5'5.5", but hey, there's still hope. I might grow - I've grown an inch in the last 9 months or so).

I used to get scouted all the time and signed with an agency when I was 14 but quit modeling a few months ago! I still get scouted occasionly.
