are the multicolor bags going to be a staple? if not they will probably be a good investment.

The speedy fits a crazy amount of stuff. I once put a pair of shoes, pants and a small denim jacket in mine and I still had room for a wallet.

But I would not invest in a Louis If I were you. They're so out of style in Montreal. Go for something unique. Leave the Louis Vuittons for the tacky girls in Parc X and LaSalle

Well I don't mind them being "in" or not in style, as long as I love them. They're just sooooo gorgeous. And speaking of unique, I think they're still unique... ....because fakes don't count for me as Louis Vuittons!

Why don't you get a Louis Vuitton luggage item? I think that beyond all the logos that the hard Alzer suitcases are still very nice.

Although I would get the Speedy since it is more of a classic shape with a versatile size for stuffing things in.

The Murakami's are much too overdone what with the knockoff's, and etc. Frankly I liked the Stephen Sprouse Graffiti better. And the Julie Verhoeven's as well.

I too prefer the Verhoeven bags. The brown canvas monogram is very over-done as is the Murakami, but if i were to buy a LV bag it would have the be the Speedy 25/30 .

Not totally on-topic, but I'm wondering.......it seems that most people say Murakami when refering to the multicolor, but those are two different things right?

I thought that the Murakami-line was the line with the Murakami characters such as the Cherry Blossom, Eye love etc, and that the line with just the multicolor logos is named 'Multicolor' and not Murakami.....

Is there anyone who can clear this up?

thats totally right.. these multicolors are just referred to as "monogram multicolore" as far as i know

I would go for the multicolore speedy 30, even though they are everywhere, i still love them. My second choice would be the papillon.
