Wow, nice.. Thanks for bringing this in, Scott. I have read about them before, they are from Montreal. I guess they moved to Paris(?) I think they are actually jewellery designers although it looks so much knitwear.. I'm checking their site now, they describe it as "vermeil" There are some beautiful pictures there, there is an antique feel to the pieces.. Really incredible

last season arielle shared her presentation with christian wijnants which was beautiful.

This is one word: awful. It's funny how people will slap "fashion" on anything nowadays. I could take my cat's sh** and call it fashion and people would be all "ohhh how innovative and new." I don't care what her "message" is or that she is "making a statement." There is nothing pretty about this.

I checked Wijnants' f/w '10.. All I see is clothes though. Do you mean the fabrics are her design? I like those a lot. K i need to see her work in person^^ I don't know what I'm looking at --But it makes sense.. Says she majored in print & textiles.

while I agree on the presentation being pretty bad, I think you should have an actual look at her product before making such strong statements.

some of her pieces, in fact, are quite nice.

Also, if I wanted to insult her "fans" intelligence, I would have called them stupid, which I clearly did not. Maybe you should try harder to dissect my meaning, since you seem to find the meaning in her s***astic work, rather than being defensive in regard to what automatically affects you....
