A nod to the 80's with restraint and without the risk of looking like a freakshow going through the vintage shop ala Marc Jacobs:ninja:

    I'm loving parts of this.
I'm a bit of a fan of Mr Basi.
Ignoring the YSL Fall 08 majorness in two looks and the sweatshirt, I love the belted button-up dress with black sleeves and several other seperates.
Break the looks up and you have some v nice pieces.

I think so too. I can't really what any of the pieces look like. Having said that,I like the 'soft edges' to some of the pieces.

I am sorry but I think it's awful, it doesn't look good even on models:ninja:

People were complaining about 80s at Marc Jacobs, but what I really fear the most is not pointy shoulder pads, but large baggy jackets in general. They make everyone's head and legs look to small. There are some good dresses mixed in the bunch here though.

a little bit like anne-sofie back's quirky interpretation of the 80's.

i like how the models basically have a clean and pure look, not a lot of make up ala marc, and yet the clothes are crazy yet restrained. a great contrast. some of the pieces are ugly as hale to me, but i do see a clear direction and i appriecaite that. other than that, i feel like this is a strong collection.
