thank you for posting
the christina's world by wyeth is one of my favourites ^_^ it's a sort of unusual painting/theme
--could you give me the source of the painting?
we always have to give credits to images (or articles) that we post at theFashionSpot or else they have to be deleted

Welcome to the forums :flower:
nice to see more members in the Art&Design forum
your painting is interesting too
the first thing that i thought was Judith and Holofernes  do you know who i'm talking about? ^_^
by the way, we have a thread in the DIY section for members posting their own work tFS Art Gallery

Hi, thanks. I know Judith and Holofernes. The Caravaggio and the Gentileschi one. It actually has nothing to do with that though. But it's still good that it inspired you to think of that particular subject.

And, I don't know the source of the Wyeth, I just google image searched it.

The centre-piece, a Memento Mori titled For The Love of God, was a human skull recreated in platinum and adorned with 8,601 diamonds weighing a total of 1,106.18 carats. Approximately £15,000,000 worth of diamonds were used.
