^ oh i saw his work in class before
you know, he just likes to have fun with his work
i was told they received some concern and reaction when people viewed them at a gallery
thought it was a narrative on child abuse and things like that
because they are deformed dolls and plush toys, i suppose
so...
as time went on, he actually held on to that idea and i think it perhaps has a connection to his work now and in an interview he said he never meant something of a dark theme for his work--it was just for fun

I visited his site, but there are no pics there. He also paints and does other kinds of artwork, but I prefer this direction better.

i like them more too
they are somewhat disconcerting .. the textures and so much of it together
i just know this bit from my instructor
but oh you can find more of these sort of works using Google Images
