Ashley Greene

i've never paid much attention to her but when i saw those pics on dailymail this morning i was like "WHATTTT" she looks insanely gorgeous with this red hair. it's a beautiful color (well, i'm biased because i have the same shade of red :P) but i think it looks total rockstar on her and makes her look much more intriguing! good job, ashley :)

This bad hair color is the most attention she has/will ever get. Maybe she's doing a superhero film?

Why does she have to dye her hair such unnatural colors? Even in those baking pics above it looks really bad...

adds of Ashley's hair: the coloring itself looks well from looking at the tones in her hair, but I'm still not sold on this color on her.

Ashley Greene’s Red Hair: Her Colorist Shares the Details
ynZKs.jpg

Ashley Greene made a head-turning statement when she stepped out with newly red hair over the weekend. We caught up with her colorist, Jason Backe, who works at the Ted Gibson Salon, to get the details on the star’s new hue. “Ashley is a great client because every time she colors her hair she wants to do something different,” he told InStyle.com. “When she said she wanted to go red, she was specific in requesting a color that made a bold statement, that didn’t necessarily look natural, and had no orange tones.” Ready to go red? Backe recommends keeping your skin tone in mind before taking the plunge. Those with pale complexions, like Greene’s, should opt for a similar color to the actress’—a cool-toned red with no hint of orange. “For people who tan easily, have olive undertones, or have a dark complexion, true reds or violet-reds are great options,” he advised. “The end result is a traffic-stopping color that has everybody talking.” You can say that again!

it's sad that she spent a lot of money for this look, it looks like she just took the cheapest box dye and did it herself. and this shade doesn't look good on her skintone at all =/

uhh ohh. I think I'm the only one that likes her red hair. :/
But I too just dyed my hair red last Thursday.
I think if she stuck with a more natural shade, it would look a lot better on her. Her hair isn't awful...I just think it could be tweeked a bit.

Did the colourist seriously suggest that people with pale skin tones should opt away from orange toned reds? Because natural red heads are so well known for their dark skin

...funny you say that. Because I thought the exact thing...I just decided not to comment on it. I'm more pale skinned myself. My hairstylist put some cool toned red lowlights in my hair before I decided to dye my whole head red, and it wasn't very flattering.
Then we put some more copper toned highlights in and blonde highlights to lighten up some of the cooler toned red lowlights. It made a huge difference.

It brightened up my face. I think if Ashley went with a more warmer tone as well. It would look amazing.

I still like her hair though...I just think it would look better if it was more of a natural warmer shade.

love to see closer pic of her dress, but it looks super cute!

She looks really cute in that red/pink dress at the fan event, I even think the red hair works here.

Ashley Greene was passed the torch on Thursday when she took over the next appearance on the global press tour to support “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, the final movie in the five-film franchise based off the beloved vampire romance series by author Stephenie Meyer.
Ashley’s costars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart attended events earlier in the week.
For her first appearance since becoming a red head, the 25-year-old actress arrived at a photocall in Johannesburg, South Africa wearing a mature navy blue a-line dress by Erdem, which featured a petal vine embroidered sleeveless top and a full belted skirt.
While this isn’t a look from my wish list, it stays within her classic tastes and allowed for her curly Little Mermaid tresses to stand out. I’ll be honest in saying that I wish Ash had worn one of the sleek dresses from the Resort 2013 collection to show off her toned figure. I’m not really into the fullness of the skirt as I feel like she lost her shape a bit.
This look was complete with black Brian Atwood “Maniac” leather pumps.
