Ashley Judd has been appointed the new face of EL's American Beauty brand

US beauty giant The Estée Lauder Companies has unveiled the name and the face of the first creation to come out of its new BeautyBank division. American Beauty will be represented by US actress Ashley Judd. The line will launch in selected outlets of US department-store chain Kohl’s this October. It will roll out to the remaining Kohl’s stores in fall 2005.

I agree! I am a little disappointed.. I love her a lot, but it just doesn't showcase any of her features, like her cheekbones that can cut glass.

She's pretty in the ad, but it doesn't really do her justice.
