Atlein F/W 2022.23 Paris

Margiela meets Vandervorst and frankly I'm not mad at it. It has an odd sexiness that I find appealing, like some strange upset sensuality that Margiela used to do so well before it went infantile. There are some construction flaws, but it makes up for it with a strong vision. Pleasantly surprised by Atlein as the seasons go by.

That being said, the face covers could have been skipped. Doesn't really do much for the show or the looks.

This show is a proof that he doesn’t have an identity.
But maybe he can take over Azzaro.

Compared to say Marine Serre, it’s wonderful, it has the crafty attitude but without looking like you just poured glue over you and rolled over a pile of fabric. In spite of it, it’s not something that I’m attracted to…it doesn’t seem new or challenging either.
