I like the idea of Atlein...This kind of Nicolas Ghesquiere's revival or nostalgia with a cast of women, something very sexy and subtle.
I mean, even Nicolas's fit model at Balenciaga is there...
But i don't think this is enough to have your own line.
This doesn't have that extra dose of personality. So maybe he can be better working for another brand or simply as a design director or something because his voice is not loud enough.
@Lola701 Courreges for example! Overall it is nice and cute... That's all I can say because he just creates beautiful clothes with no depth, no story telling, nothing.
This is his weakest collection. It looks like an average NYFW collection circa 2011-2012...something from Philip Lim or Derek Lam. That shade of red and blue is so New York.
His first few shows were stronger. But it's true...the Ghesquiere connection is still too strong. Agree with Lola, here.
