^Eh, she'll be good to go in Paris for S/S 10, just no shows on Sundays or after 4:00pm-ish on Saturday. Oh and no looks/working past 8:00pm on weekdays. Small set backs, but it never stopped a legion of under-agers before her.

^My understanding (speculatory mind you) is that Monika's age probably still isn't 15, or at least wasn't during the shows. IMG didn't even try to lie about it, which was noble. Being under 16 didn't stop Karlie when she first started; Certainly didn't hurt Tanya; Rose was able to do Vuitton last season (because the show was not on a Sunday), but barred from doing Givenchy (because it was on a Sunday).

I'm not an expert on the underage working laws in Paris, but they are complicated. Basically if you're under 16, no shows on Sundays is a given. You can only do morning shows on Saturday and you can't work past 8:00pm during the weekdays. That much I know for sure.

This is a discussion better suited for another thread (How Young Is Too Young To Model, or something), but for argument's sake, Auguste's age should not necessarily prevent her from doing SOME shows in Paris next season.

There is a more basic and radical rule, it is that to work under 16, u must first be represented by an agency who has the special licence for that, and none of these licences has ever been delivered to the few top agencies; for obvious reasons...
This not at all an easy matter to work under 16 in paris, there are very very regular control (including sometimes backstage of big show!...) , and the most serious agencies will not take muh risk about breaking the rules.
To lie about age on a fashion forum is something, to lie to a social security controler who check the passport of a girl in middle of a job is something else...

also, under 16; the monney earned is blocked on an account, so...that idea is also not that excited by the models anyway...

hmm interesting, but like YARS said, she could still do a few select shows (ie Vuitton, Miu Miu..) she isn't going to be doing a Kendra Spears or anything (20+ shows in Paris) and with the above rules it wouldn't really make sense for her to.

But yeah this is getting way offf topic of Auguste. Maybe another thread on the subject.
