any aussies out there watching AI this season?..

cyndi lauper is their mentor this week...so far a great show...i LOVE her!!!..

i hope there are some tfs-ers watching this season...the american idol thread last season was so much fun...i'd love to do the same for the aussies! i think this season is a great one so far....some really solid singers and interesting characters...

so who is your favourite... what was your favourite performance...who do you think should be booted... etc etc... let's discuss!

...he's cute but it was a bad song choice...

i'm not unhappy with the elimination... there are others i would have kicked off first but this person was definitely in the bottom 3 imo.. so i don't think it was unfair...

i want cyndi lauper to be a permanent judge...she ROCKS! ....and i love the way she gave Dicko heaps at the end...so funny...

Just saw Chrislyn singing Chains..... WOW. Just wow. She is my favourite this year

she is a powerhouse that one ....who would've thought that voice and that ATTITUDE would have come out of that girl....she started out so shy and unsure of herself... now she's on fire!

can't say i loved Chains though....i've liked her previous performances more....particularly the song choices....i am really attached to Tina Arena singing that song... she sounded great but it wasn't quite 'it' for me...

I think that Darren hit the nail on the head when he made her confront her image change... I think she was definately more herself tonight... But that being said, she's not one of my favourites. I always favour the powerhouses

i agree ...i saw a big difference tonight compared to previous weeks...much more authentic...that barbie doll pop thing didn't suit her imo..

she's not one of my favourites either though...until tonight she really annoyed me...but i thought she showed a lot of sincerity with tonight's performance. she sings from somewhere in the back of her throat though...it's bizarre....i think she needs to be careful because when she stops focusing it comes out as a very strange, annoying sound..
