I get scared when i look on this thread of what might be on here. I agree though the last four look ok

the problem i think is the person or people who are taking these photos have bad fashion sense in my opinion and consequently is taking the same style in photos... yes of course they are plenty of people who are bad ( as we can see) but really there are also plenty of people who are inspiring too.

hahaha yeah i agree with the previous posts - a lot of these photos, i presume, have been taken by people interested in that style of dressing therefore what they photograph is limited to their tastes... - in my opinion, they do not reflect "aussie street style" on the whole...rather a VERY small portion of what you see on the streets...

i'll post a few pictures from melbourne-runway.blogspot.com ... they have a somewhat different vibe & style about them ... (just to point out a couple of these pictures are from Sydney .. the rest from Melbourne)

i'm interested to hear everyones opinions ... And I will post some more in a few hours!!

if you look around mystylediary, there are a lot of vogue forum member with accounts there.... they do dress quite differently to what is seen here.

having lived there for the past three years i think the photos here really do only reflects a certain demographic of australian fashion

i'm interested to see what people classify / define as 'typical aussie street style' ? I agree with a number of others that, 'typically' it's not the very outrageous outfits posted throughout this thread... but what is it? i guess we can't generalise... nonetheless i'm still interested to see what people think...

the follwoing are from a melbourne blog called third best. i refrained from posting the more offensive/outlandish ones because ironically enough, i find them boring. most are from melbourne fashion week, some are just off the street.



the next one reminds me of julien from the strokes. i'm sure he wears one of these jackets.
