Anyways, it's very light and layered and easy breezy. I'd fit perfectly for a RTW collection.
Sorry this is actually "AVH by Anne-Valerie Hash". Can a mod please change the title?
I like how light and breezy the clothes look. They are all outfits which I long to wear during the summer, especially digging the shoes!
Very beautiful collection. I love the casual layering fit of the garmets, and the the dresses are just beautiful as well
gorgeous. Very soft, comfortable yet stylish.
Wait, where was this presented at?
this is not F/W 10.11 but S/S 11 shown yesterday at paris fashion days.
After a while, this is one AVH collection that I truly adore! The proportions, knots, colour scheme <3
yeah this is part of the newly established paris fashion days which is sort of a venue for designers to show their secondary lines as a prelude to the HC season. pretty clever,no? show the cheaper stuff before the exorbitant?
i think with so much criticism the industry has been getting in regards to the economic crisis they wanted to put these collections specifically on display.
anyway, this is really pretty stuff from avh. it's very much within the scope of a lot of her earlier work but much easier.
A healthy dose of realism infused into her work really did wonders here - this is delightfully pretty without the frou-frou that has for a while made her collections appear overtly girl-ish in a bad, flounce-y, ruffled manner. This retains a softness and ease while at the same time retaining Hash's signature masculine-feminine aethetics.
I like it, it's simple, soft and wearable.
Hmm. I think I'm attracted to this the way I'm attracted to an Atsuro Tayama collection. It's nice, in that niceness you love as a present but not necessarily as something that you would acquire on your own.
Deep bottom, I must be still the annoying/nostalgic observant that keeps hoping she one day returns to what she used to make more than 8 years ago now.
I think this is really lovely and well-done but it still does not compare to her earlier work. It definitely recalls all the sensibilities that truly distinguish AVH from all others, but it honestly looks like the work of someone desperately trying to imitate her work. Never a good thing, imo.
so french chic. like isabel marant before she got ruined by the folks at vogue paris
