Avtandil is most popular Georgian designer from 1995. He is also known in european countries. His collections were shown not only in Tbilisi (capital of Georgia). He had a big success in Moscow Fashion Week, Russian Fashion Week, Kiev Fashion Week, Dubai Fashion Week, Athens Fashion Week and other. He has his Fashion House "Avtandil" and stores not only in Georgia. At the end of 2008 he has launched his firs collection for kids.

Avtandil is the first Georgian designer who succeeded in Fashion world.
A designer started developing in Avtandil Tskvitinidze from childhood. He was drawing all the time, basically women, but the most important was that he was inventing clothes for them.
At thirteen-year age Avtandil decided that time had come to make a reality of his sketches. Since that day his mother became his first client. The young man graduated from the Academy of Arts of Georgia and passed training at the House of Gucci.
The first step of designer Avtandil Tskvitinidze was participation in the young designers' competition at the Assembly of Avant-garde Fashion "AMA" in Tbilisi in 1995, where he became a prize-winner. In 1996, the young designer won Grand prix at the Festival of Caucasus Designers in Baku.
His success was not set aside and in 1999, Avtandil Tskvitinidze was offered a job at the factory of "Imereti" in the city of Kutaisi, where he designed his first prêt-a-porter clothing, which was shown in Tbilisi at the Sheraton Metechi Palace on December 10, 1999. His activity has been recognized as a first step in revival of Georgian fashion industry.
Two basic directions of company's activity were prêt-a-porter clothing and designer work under individual orders. Avtandil Tskvitinidze's target market is not only show business representatives and ordinary people, but business world as well.
For the first time in Georgia, Tskvitinidze has created a youth jeans sportswear.
In 2004 Avtandil was entrusted with creation of parade uniform for Georgia's Olympic team.
Connoisseurs of high art know Avtandil Tskvitinidze as a creator of invariably bright and original clothes, who always follows his own style based on a national colour.
The designer seasonally organizes personal fashion shows, after which the collections are offered for sale in Avtandil Tskvitinidze's House of Fashion. Besides, the assortment of the shop is constantly refreshed.
The collection by Avtandil Tskvitinidze turned out to be beautiful and laborious. No doubt, it’s excellent in color - black items with almost invisible pink trimming, pale blue and brown, pink with gray and chocolate. Laces over wool fabrics plus velvet, satin, fur. His collection leaves the impression of thoughtful and cultural design, love of detail, color and material. Avtandil has designed a few collections, different in style and spirit, and Georgian public met them with gratitude.
"It doesn’t matter, what pushes me ahead, but only my contribution to the development of fashion matters", - Avtandil Tskvitinidze. The company AVTANDIL TSKVITINIDZE was established in 2000. During 5 years, Avtandil made 15 personal show in Tbilisi, 2 in Azerbaijan 4 in Moscow and 5 in Kiev, also in Dubai and Athens. The company has shops in Karlsruhe and Baden-Baden, Germany, in Moscow & in Kiev. The firm includes 20 employees, who carry out individual tailoring and exclusive models for the shop. Besides the firm produces mass products, dresses anchors of various TV programs and those from show-business.
Avtandil has also created clothing for kids.
"Variety of my collections reflects my state of mind, sometimes black-and-white, sometimes chaotically motley. I work to emphasize essence of the woman at one moment gentle, at another aggressive... "
The designer, Avtandil Tskvitinidze, continues to create peculiar to him extraordinarily romantic images.
Now he is working about collection, there's a chance this collection to be in Paris in 2010
