Balenciaga (June 2004 - December 2012)

I really want a balenciaga coat... may be my only chance to find a designer coat that fits me (cause they run small, like nicolas). The spring stuff should be going on sale soon, hopefully. even on sale, the prices are ridiculous though.

What Stores Carry Balenciaga?

Hey everyone, I was wondering where I can buy Balenciaga menswear other than the boutique. I live in the Boston Area. Thanks. Neimans and Saks here don't carry it.

I think the menswear may be limited to Balenciaga and Barneys only. Sorry!

The only place that MIGHT carry it in Boston would probably be Louis Boston. That is probably your best bet, if they don't have it you can always do a charge and send from Barney's.

The only store in Boston worth visiting, in my humble opinion. Like MJ suggested you can order from Barneys, BUT, beware that Balenciaga has a TERRIBLE fit, so I wouldn't dare buy anything unless I tried it on.

Try calling Alan Bilzerian on Newbury St, they may carry it.

there isn't any balenciaga in Alan Bilzerian, I was there last week

but Louis did caryy Balenciaga, they have some nice pieces actually

I acutally like to know where in boston carry Jil Sander, Calvin Klein, Helmut Lang, Matthew Williamson, and Blumarine pieces from the runaway, if anyone knows, please tell me!! thank you.

btw, sorry when I say Louis carry Balenciaga, I mean women's wear, I didn't notice menswear part haha

to be honest Diesel21,
balenciaga menswear is for a very 'selective' audience i think

their sizes are impossibly small and limited.
their pants and jackets range from 48 - 52 which is quite normal for RTW menswear,
however their sizing is VERY VERY small

i am 5'11.5 and i am very tiny. i generally get a 30 waist pants which is like a 48, however in balenciaga menswear i can JUST about get into their 52 size which is their largest.
also i take a 34 inch leg, but their leg length is more like a 40 its absolutely rediculous

as for their jackets........again i am thin but i have quite big shoulders and i take a 48-50......but their size 52 is more like a 48 from any other brand.

i know some of balenciaga menswear is gorgeous.....but their sizing is more suiting for a female runway model in BIG heels

I'm not a big guy, but I almost ripped apart one of the jackets I tried on in size 50. I got scared and left the store...

I guess my 32 waist is morbidly obese in Balenciaga standards....I actually really wanted one of their coats.....oh well
