I love this collection a lot
Beautiful! Early Ghesquiere is my favorite.
so what do you call shoulderpads in 2001? démodé from the 90s or very advanced late-naughties???
this collection, i believe, started the balenciaga frenzy. one we haven't seen the likes of until balmain. reportedly, this is the collection for which kate moss waived her fee in lieu of receiving pieces directly off the runway.
i only remembered this collection via editorials and vogue us article of ghesquière.
and i do understand, now, why i've always thought this collection was composed of only white.
only the last looks were striking. and they stroke !
(but if you've got some pieces from the first looks, you could try to get them out and get them fitted ...)
the ad campaigns were also very memorable as well with the illustration inez and vinoodh did within the actual photo. it was very interesting.
i wish we could have HQ pix of that collection
