So their former CEO went to Saint Laurent and now they're using the Saint Laurent photog? Juergen's work shines best when the subject matter and clothes are refined, such as his campaigns for Saint Laurent and Philo's Celine. Balenciaga needs a campaign by Steven Meisel or Nick Knight, to really make me interested. Their ambassadors are starting to make less and less sense as well.

I actually don't mind the images ??? This one could have been fun, if it were a campaign for WEEKDAY.

It's just always the same question: What are these clothes? Who are they for? Who is buying these from Balenciaga? They don't even try anymore - It's literally jeans, a hoodie and a polo shirt. Nothing more. It's just stuff.

1 iphone has shot Balenciaga, Chanel, SL, etc. virtually a quarter of the world's hf billboards. Mine only gets to shoot anonymous sunsets.

Its a good campaign. At least they didnt hire horrible Mario Sorrenti or even wirse Inez and Vinoudh with their tackyness. At least this is closer to the brand.
And the bags by the way have a waiting list, so they are doing somethin right.

I don't mind it either. Feels honest to what the brand is (these days). I agree 90sfan - waaaaaay better than creepy Sorrenti, and tacky, sleep inducing Inezzzzzzzzzz
