french sole has got fabulous flats! I didn't know about this brand before. I wanna buy a pair but I can't choose, they are all gorgeous!

The best ballet flats I have seen are from French Sole.... they come in a variety of colours and styles and are really affordable!!!

I have really cute ones that I got from French... they are glittery- kinda like gun metal and I love them soooo much!!!!

Audrey was the best promotor for ballet flats!!! She rocks!!!

I love ballet flats, but I am really (5' 1") short. Do you think I should try them anyway?

These are from swell.com and are by Hurley. They're cute in the picture but in real life, the ribbon tie is NOT silky and is some kind of grosgain. They are also extremely flimsy and rough on the inside. The orginal price was $45 but I got them for $20. :/ I guess they are STILL cute but definitely not worth $20 and for sure not $45. Does anyone else know of any other good quality ballet flats with ballet style ribbon ties?

I'm having the same issue, although I am 5'3". I LIVE in heels...adore them! But ballet flats are SO CUTE! I feel so "little" when I wear them...and I start walking on my tip toes. :p However....2006 is going to be my year of learning to LOVE ballet flats....specifically silk-satin because they are just WAY too pretty.

I like them plain and simple.

I hate the beaded ones and bright coloured flats. It looks cheap.

Call me slow but I'm just starting to realize how flippin adorable flat shoes are. I'm heel-obsessed but since I'm 5'7 and have to walk to school, I'm pretty much killing my feet. So my next purchases will be alotta cute ballet flats. ;)

BTW, the magazine Lucky has a lot of ballet flats throughout the pages. It's a good issue.

I'm 5'1" and I don't give a damn how tall I am. I love flats... sometimes I just don't WANT to wear heels.
