This was one of my favorite pieces from the collection, still wannit!!!
So I saw a rip off today a Witchery (an Aus outlet) anyway I was thinking of buying and tweaking it (adding / sculpting shoulder pads) & improving the front plaits.

What do you mean by received your compliments on the street? When I wear it out, people don't compliment....they just stare. A lot. Can't tell if they love it or hate it, or what! Lol.

LOVE some of the customisations on here...

I'd love to be able to do it myself, but I don't think I'd be very good at it. I buy alot of high street clothes that have some Balmain-esque features, it'd be great to be able to customise something and know that no one else has the same haha.


Maverick, that jacket is gorgeous is it made with sequins?

I'm making an imitation of the Balmain Green Dress for a design school task and it was difficult to find a similar material - I ended up paying 100 dollars a meter because it was ' hand sewn sequins on silk' it doenst match to real fabric exactly its not dark enough but it still awesome, I have awesome shoulder pads and all when im finished I will post a photo of it :-)

i think it already looks quite balmainish. you could try adding chains.

if you're willing, you could completely remove the sleeves..

or maybe add shoulder pads..
