80s retro-futurism? No, thank you! Ghesquière already did it; and way better than you, Olivier!
On a positive side, at least he´s evolving from his rhinestone-overdose heavy dresses...but he still is stuck in a never ending 80s loop.
Oh boy. Of course that you can save a few pieces on this collection, but it means that you have to get close of this hideous clothes, so bye.
This brand is a such egotrip..
I can't help but feel that he is screaming to get Chanel and Versace's attention. It's sad. Sadder than the fact that he still can't show a cohesive, beautiful collection.
lol this hot fuming mess of a collection is somehow the first thing he does that i don't fully hate. Sure it's ugly, tacky as hell, but - taking out the denim pieces and some truly horrifying things here and there, it's fun. I mean, terrible, but fun.
You know, about half of this is actualy quite decent and something I can actually see having a life outside of the runway... and the other half is so incredibly hideous and poorly made I can barely fathom its existence. I'm extremely confused.
my eyes hurt. no direction, no message, just a pile of totally different clothes.
I don't see the cohesion here at all. I'm getting Chanel and Viktor & Rolf with a sprinkle of Nicolas. I guess there are some decent looks here, but over all it's sloppy and elongated.
I can actually see some glimpse of Christophe Decarnin's Balmain here but the fabrics look really cheap and it's a big eyesore.
Not a good collection imo, boring.
Those cheap metallic/plastic fabrics... jesus whyyyy...
Omg, so much camp! But not quirky, intellectual camp like Marc Jacobs used to do. This is cheap and cheesy camp. His Balmain woman is the female accompaniment to Phillip Plein's dudebro.
Olivier Rousteing is one of the most horrendous things that happened to fashion.
I want him out of EVERYTHING.
it's not his best one
those jeans are appalling
i do really like a lot of the pieces towards the end though (apart from the viktor & rolf ones)
