Balmain S/S 2026 Paris | the Fashion Spot

Balmain S/S 2026 Paris

so chic, so fresh. I feel this collection is the Olivier that we see in his interviews. Grounded, very sincere and classy. In contrast to the in-pictures olivier he has been showing. All the overworked and structured show pieces.

Hope this means he has found a new life in his Balmain and ready to show us himself after so many years. For him, i think this is like being naked and being free from hiding from all the frou.

Whoever says he is siriano pfw after this, clearly did not even check the collection.

Olivier may not be subtle, he does have taste and a rather sophisticated eye.
I doubt such things exists in Siriano’s world. A designer who can’t choose a proper fabric needs to change it lane…

But PFW does have a Christian Siriano: ALEXIS MABILLE.

It's safe to say between Missoni, LV and Balmain, Madame Sauvé is booked and busy this season, and she delivered so I love that for her.

This collection is good, because for once Olivier finally let go of all of the unnecessary excess. This puts focus on the quality of the clothes, the fabric materials, the cut and the silhouettes. There are no pointless details that scream “high fashion drama”. Just straight to the point good, sexy clothes that you can buy and wear.

I'm not an advocate for a total full look but this collection is so perfectly styled, you can just wear this collection straight out the runway.

I have to say that if somebody showed me this show without any hint of whose show it was, I'd guess Isabel Marant or MAYBE Stella McCartney (but then I'd be worried about her). Not a fan.
Call me sentimental but the first few years of Rousteing at Balmain was his peak imho. I don't know what's happened. These were the dresses, that was the attitude. It was everything.

We have Rabanne tomorrow afternoon too.

Olivier is getting back on track.
This feels very light, rich…and Balmain.
The draped volumes are beautiful.
Crazy heels, vavavoom bags, rich fabrics developments and a sexy attitude.
MAS is doing a great job and I never thought of her and Olivier working together.

TBH I don’t have many names in mind to who could replace Olivier there. He seems to reinvent himself. Kudos !

I wouldn’t guess either especially Stella.

If anything this is very Christophe Decarnin at faith connexion which is why I love this collection.
I hope he does the same pants for men. I haven’t wanted to invest in balmain in ages

Was this nice? I think so… it looked comfortable.
A bit of Isabel Marant vibes but good. And a slight better casting than usual. my favorite look was the one worn by Olivia Petronella.
Shoes were terrible!

Isabel Marant drowning in the middle of the ocean...and he made a towel-dress???

Why is his clothing even when they're supposed to be light?Have a heavy look.I think it's the boots it's a good show , but I feel like I saw him do this a lot. It just feel so heavy.
