Bangs - Styling, Side Bangs, Fringes etc.

i prefer having bangs :)
my face is oval-ish long so having bangs help reduce the length
though i wish i could grow them out and still look as rockin as kate moss ;)

sorry and i know this is completely unrelated but i'm still not really getting what the little blue boxes underneath each person's name represents- how come everyone's got a different amt? and what does giving karma mean?? ;) thanks sweeties!

^ I think it represents how many posts you've made...people with thousands of posts have a lot of box's, while us the ones with only a few hundred have less boxes! If someone compliments you or says something you agree with or anything like that you can 'give them karma' Like karma..what goes around comes around idea.

haha wow, guys, tuesday I got a kind of botched haircut, and I was freaking out, but today I washed it and styled it myself, and now I have YSL bangs. Go figure. I LOVE THEM, though, I look so cute, haha!! I'm going to retouch them a bit myself later.

new bang-age

Okay, I have a question...I'm just about to get my haircut pretty soon, and I have side swept bangs usually, but they've grown out so much that I have to part them in the middle. I want to change them a little bit. I really liked that picture of Heidi a couple pages back where she has her bangs straight and kinda above her eyebrows or a little below. I want to be able to wear my bangs like that, but I also want to side sweep them...like I want some variety...so what should I say to the person who cuts my hair???

I would think you'd ask them to cut with your part in the middle--if you want to wear your bangs both straight and side-swept. Otherwise if they cut them with your part on the side then wearing them straight will make them uneven.

But the question you just asked us should be the question you ask your stylist. He/she would know best ^_^

im new here!
i really want to get my hair cut && get one of those side bangs!
im going to the salon this week and i was wondering where i can find pix here!

I think they look good both ways, and by the way, you're absolutely gorgeous!

sashatheelf - you look good with bangs, you're lucky. I've always wanted bangs of some sort but I just end up looking like Prince Valiant. Man oh man... :( Anywho, good on you lady :D

ii have a problem:S my hair is curly and i dont think side bangs are suitable unless i relax my hair ....do you advice me to do that?

need answers please

i also have 'semi-wavy' hair especially my bangs and instead of straightening the entire head, i only straightened my bangs. that worked out perfectly!

I really really want bangs. But I'm not sure if my face is too long and narrow, I need your opinions badly
I'm also worried if it will make my nose look too big.

I don't think you have a big nose at all.
I think you should get bangs, but not the type that is cut right across, it should be like that heidi klum bangs..where it is a little longer by the cheek bones and straigt across...then layer the back a little for body.

As we have established, my face is narrow like yours The Ida. However as you have very good features and bone structure, you may be able to get away with the fringe you want. I think a long fluffy, eyebrow skimming one would work. I dont think a graphic one would with such long hair. You know if you pull some hair down, you can double it over your fingers to get an idea what you would look like with a fringe, without actually getting one.
