Meet L'Orèal's New Ambassador: Barbara Palvin

Joining the likes of Bianca Balti and Doutzen Kroes, Barbara Palvin is the latest supermodel to be named a global ambassador of L’Oreal Paris. “I’m very excited about the prospect of joining the L’Orèal Paris family alongside huge, iconic celebrities such as Gwen Stefani and Claudia Schiffer,” the 18-year-old super told WWD. ”I have a very personal vision of beauty, which is very closely aligned with their modern approach.”

Barbara will be the face of the brand’s new lipstick “Rouge Caresse” which adds a very slight and natural hint of color to the lips and will appear in both print and televised ads starting this month. “[Barbara] is a very promising supermodel with a fascinating personality, fresh and elegant beauty, with a great sense of humor and astonishing maturity,” L’Orèal’s president Cyril Chapuy said. “I think she has this incredible potential to become a household name.”

I haven't visisted her theard for a while now.
seeing her latest work, I must say I don't think she "fits" into the high fashion world...
and like some said a few pages back about her VS work: she really needs to work out for those kind of shots..

She has a great body and I think she'd fit in well with the other Victoria's Secret models...and her body looks better than a lot of the girls' that walked in this year's show. She's got curves, and curves are something that Victoria's Secret needs to consider more often when they're doing castings because they're selling underwear and let's face it, most girls in the real world aren't as thin as Karlie Kloss. Not trying to say anything bad about Karlie, she's a beautiful girl, but she doesn't necessarily fit VS all that well, and neither do a few of the others.

Im four years older, indeed she has accomplished a lot it makes me feel unaccomplished haha but I think she was lucky to be born with good looks although its not the only thing that made her successful its 80% of it. but anyways, cannot wait to see the commercial!
