Belly Button piercing gone wrong after 11 years!

Ok so I have a belly button piercing I got and have had it for 11 years now! For some reason i took it out and after a week it has a ball inside of it and hurts! I don't know if its infected or what. I have no idea what to do. Anyone know?

This kinda thing really scares me, but I'm scream-ish, it's probably nothing but please go and see a doctor. If it's an infection then you should get it checked out before it spreads.
