Belstaff RTW Fall 2014
February 16, 2014
Snow storms? Whipping wind? Horizontal rain? Martin Cooper has got you covered.
In his final collection for the brand, Belstaff¹s chief creative officer whipped up outerwear to fend off the worst winter weather * all with a light touch. Shearling, as always, played a starring role, appearing on the collars of long military coats adorned with patches of quilting, or lining bomber jackets fashioned from black and tobacco colored leather.
There were riffs on the brand¹s trenches and waxed motor sports jackets * often styled with gauntlets - and a solid lineup of everyday clothing, too. Skinny, ribbed knit sweaters and a short, gray wool jacket with black patch pockets swiped from Belstaff's classic Roadmaster jacket were among the highlights.
