Just wondering what the store is actually like, the kind of stuff it sells, and how expensive it is.

Their clothing is in loads of magazines and is worn by Erin Wasson. I love the studded shorts, jackets and boots?

Any thoughts?

It's all pretty expensive. There are loads of sneakers, some new and some shredded but all covered in studs. Mass amounts of leather jackets that are incredibly expensive for just being old worn on leathers which they then studded as well as plenty of jeans, shorts and skirts. There are some black/white tye dyed dresses and tops which are really pretty. They also sell loads of jewelry which I believe are not their own cause they looked like the stuff Pat Field would sell, all bejeweled and whatnot. My absolute favorites are the studded boots which they really did perfectly.

They actually have the shot of Erin in the jacket from I-D hanging in the window which was funny and almost the only reason I noticed the store while walking by until I saw the boots in the window.

Anyway as far as buying anything studded I'd feel strange because I've spent many years studding my own leather and paying over $1300 for the process already done is insane, and while I'm stoked the owners are old punks making cash off what they know best, it irks me that anyone can go in and walk out in such a hard look.

I've been very curious about this store! I tried to buy a pair of studded minnetonka moccasins just like mary kate's but the reply i got about pricing was much more expensive then an online store www.oaknyc.com. I replied asking why they were charging me so much more than a retailer store, plus i was going to buy two pairs so should get a discount! I just got a reply apologizing that they had no more in stock. I'd like to buy a pair of combat studded boots, but don't want to be ripped off. I live in Portugal and if someone in ny would like to help me out, i'd appreciate it.

I found some bess products, oaknyc.com

also done my own minnetonkas just like the above ones :)

juno how much did you pay for those? did u see any combat boots for sale?
leyla m. you must post a pic of your diy minnetonka's!

I love the mocassins and combat boots. but they are pretty expensive.
I think im going to buy Minnetonkas and stud them myself.

Yeah I don't understand why anyone would pay such high prices for something they could do at home for really cheap in a few hours (if that) I used to buy different styles of studs at a leather shop by the bagful and it was so cheap!

^ haha yah I just ordered my studs (studsandspikes.com) for super cheap. I'm really excited to get started !!

^ yeah I have an old pair of super high top black converse I never wear I'm going downtown to buy some gold studs tomorrow :P
It's way more punk to diy anyway, not pay $200 for someone else to do it for you.

id like to check this store out for ideas.
i think studded moccasins are ridiculous.
