What are the best bargains you made in 2008?

Mine are all by H&M:

Well done, Zarina! :woot:

My best bargain purchase was these Seychelles booties, which I've been wearing constantly, since I have less fear of spoiling them.

Mine are faded black, natch. :p

I don't know if these would be considered bargain or luxury, but the best thing I bought by far was my Frye black riding boots.

Since I wear a dress or skirt pretty much everyday I wear these almost every day.

I think those can go in the luxury category since Frye is a "designer" label. I would also say my black Frye engineer boots.

My best bargain would have to be my cropped fur coat which I bought for $70 CAD at Value Village. Perfect condition, the shape is very up to date (bracelet sleeves) and it keeps me super warm. Unfortunately, it's ripping quite easily because it wasn't stored properly. Oh well. I still wear it :p

Striped t-shirts from American Apparel...I was addicted...I bought them in red & white, navy & white, and black & white.

gap waffle tees
gap crewneck tees
yoox superfine jeans on super sale

these adorable little vintage ysl shoes i picked up on ebay back in october:

(photos from ebay)

i consider this a budget purchase since they're 2nd hand and only cost $31!

I don't know if it is the best of all my purchases, but this vintage 1960s dress from eBay is certainly up there. It only cost me $0.82!

i bought a couple pairs of mossimo knee-high boots at target for $35 each i think...
one pair is grey with a small wedge heel and a couple gold-ish buttons at the top..
the other is a pair of blk slouchy boots with a 2-3 inch heel...
neither are leather but they keep my legs warm and they look good.. i've gotten lots of wear out of them already! ^_^

-Ralph Lauren boys blazer that I found on eBay at a very good price.
-Three Edwardian blouses, another eBay score.
-Striped boatneck t-shirt thrifted in Paris for 5 euros.. wore it all summer.
-Rosary necklace bought from a very old lady at a market in Budapest.
-Wolford tights x2.. perhaps not 'budget' but they've lasted so well and I'll be able to wear them this year as well. Not to mention they're super comfortable!

-H&M blue and white dress
-Oversized navy cardigan
-Sheepskin mittens

Target Converse One Star Waldorf Pea Coat. I didn't buy it but I suggested it for Christmas and received it. It is so so nice for what is essentially a sweater made of sweatshirt material. The photo on Target's website doesn't do it justice at all. It is very warm and fits like a dream and looks good with everything. It's replaced a hole ridden, stretched out H&M hoodie I would throw on all the time. And it makes lounge-y and lazy outfits more pulled together. Can you tell I love this??:blush:

mine would probably be a ted baker skirt which I bought from the oxfam (charity) online store - should have been £40 reduced to £9
