Kanye West's style does nothing for me...just usual prepster style with a hip hop twist, i really don't get why he considers himself to be a fashion icon of this generation.

If I had to pick someone from hip-hop it would be Andre 3000...at least he has flair and character in the way he dresses, a style that's uniquely his own. Also Pharrell, while his style is mostly that of a quirky skater, I like his offbeat choices in colors and it looks like he's just having fun with fashion and doesn't take his clothes too seriously, I like that attitude.

Other personal style icons: Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Adrien Brody (when he's dressed up...his casual style is pretty boring)
